Recently Luis Elizondo, the former Pentagon insider, joined “CBS Mornings” to discuss his new book. In that book, Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs, Luis shares his insights on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, or UAP, which are “not made by humans.”

“There’s nothing that we have that compares to the capabilities they are demonstrating to us,” he told CBS Mornings in their first round of questioning. He also asks the next obvious question: “Well, then…where are they from?”

They follow up with asking about hard evidence (and a lack of it, according to the government). Lue goes on to outline a brief history of UAPs and the American government, including how secrets are made to protect sources and methods, not to “stop the American people from learning the truth.”

Particularly noteworthy was the moment he added, “America deserves to know the truth.”
