“There’s a right way to do things, and you can also do it right now…but they’re not necessarily the same thing.”

This was one of the key takeaways from the recent Lue Elizondo Daily Show interview, which aired on September 17, 2024. Amidst a slew of jokes from comedian-host Ronny Chieng, they also share a serious discussion based on the contents of Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs.

In the interview, Lue explains the reality of intelligent nonhuman life based on observable incidents going all the way back to the late 1940s. He reveals their apparent interest in our technology, particularly our military and nuclear capabilities. They also dive into US bureaucracy and how this issue could potentially help to unify Congress.

“In the past seven years, I think we’ve come further on this conversation than in the past 70,” Lue explains. Still, he adds, “This is the worst kept secret at this point in the US government.”
